Probiotic Cream Frosting

Probiotic Cream Frosting

This frosting is a bit healthier then traditional frosting. If you are dairy free you can check out my dairy free ” treats and candy” cookbook that has a handful of different dairy free frosting options.
Common frosting from the grocery store is packed with refined sugars, preservatives and inflammatory oils. This is not food, and these type of ingredients definitely do not nourish the body.
Just look at the ingredient list below of Pillsbury Cream Cheese and Betty Crocker Cream Cheese frosting, YIKES!

“Sugar, Palm Oil, Water, Corn Syrup, Corn Starch, Canola Oil, Salt, Mono- and Diglycerides, Polysorbate 60, Modified Corn Starch, Potassium Sorbate (Preservative), Soy Lecithin, Xanthan Gum, Lactic Acid, Artificial Flavor, Citric Acid, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Mixed Tocopherols, Chamomile and Rosemary Extracts, Ascorbic Acid), Artificial Color.”
Sugar, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Palm Oil, Corn Starch, Water. Contains 2% or less of: Salt, Monoglycerides, Polysorbate 60, Sour Cream (cream, nonfat milk, cultures), Sodium Stearoyl Lactylate, Sodium Acid Pyrophosphate, Natural Flavor, Citric Acid, Yellows 5 & 6.
