Fruit Roll Ups
Years ago I would eat those huge boxes of fruit by the foots in a day, maybe two if I was really holding back! SOOO much sugar, food coloring and processed garbage. These options are definitely better than fruit by the foot. Ideally you make your own by blending up some fruit (sometimes veggies too), a bit of lemon or lime juice and if desired a little honey or maple syrup- and dehydrate. I also have a few recipes in my book where you use some other really fun ingredients to make homemade licorice, and homemade sour candy. I color coded ingredients on the fruit by the foot as this- red: avoid! Gray: it’s iffy. Black: generally better
