Hello! I am Stephanie-Marie and I love to eat fruit & veggies.
My Mission
I love helping families really understand what they are eating and how to live a nourishing lifestyle. My passion is transforming unhealthy foods into recipes rich in high-quality ingredients. I love to help others see that you can still have cookies, sandwiches, cake, ice-cream and pasta, just switch the ingredients so these foods are better for the body.
My Life Summed Up
I have always loved to cook. I remember standing on a bucket at maybe 3-years-old and stirring the noodles cooking for my mother. The surge of excitement I felt as that young chef only grew. As a teenager I was anxious to get home from school in hopes I could make a recipe I thought of or found!
When college started I had to give myself time limits on how much I cook bake in order to focus on my degree. When I learned that many of the foods I was cooking were unhealthy and even damaging to my health (such as the gallon of corn syrup I would buy a few times a year)… I learned more about ingredients, I thought I would never be able to bake again. I imagined my life stuck eating broccoli and kale. I loved broccoli and kale, but I wanted to make cupcakes and cookies!
I started to slowly give my baking dishes away, thankfully a friend stopped me and informed me that I could make healthy desserts and great foods even with this new healthy living. This started something. I had no idea I could love baking and cooking even more than I had in the past! This began years of learning alternative ingredients and still making delicious food.
